Testimonies

"I really enjoyed the class because Margarida makes learning Portuguese an adventure. It is fun and dramatic. She is full of enthusiasm and teaches us not only the language, but the history, geography, music, legends, and culture. We often practise technical points of the language, like verb conjugations and prepositions through the use of creative board games made up by her."

Julie Ann Garcia (an American student)

Learning the Portuguese language can be fun:

When was the last time you actually enjoyed learning something new? Was it in kindergarten... a weekend cooking class... or maybe dancing? Well, despite what you might have heard about learning the Portuguese language, there’s a school in Estoril which has a very special learning atmosphere. Just think of the playfulness of a kindergarten, the usefulness of a cooking class, and the amusement on a dance floor. That’s the essence of the learning atmosphere at Margarida’s School. While specializing in teaching Portuguese for Foreigners for more than 27 years, the school also offers instruction in all major languages, and some exotic ones as well. Classes are tailored to each student’s needs and budget. Whether on a one-to-one basis or group lessons, no class has more than 4 students in a regular course.
